ROAS tracking

    In the salon industry, tracking ROAS properly is almost impossible with the software most salons are stuck using. Platforms like Shortcuts, Phorest, or Kitomba are built on technology that hasn’t really advanced since the 90s, and they simply don’t allow end-to-end tracking. What that means is you can’t follow a client journey from the moment they click an ad, to when they book, to what they actually spend in the salon.

    The closest you can get with those systems is to set up things like landing page redirects after a booking. That might give you a rough idea of how many bookings came from a particular campaign, but it’s still not accurate—and it doesn’t tell you what those bookings are worth in real dollar terms. For example, two new bookings might look the same in a basic system, but one client could come in once for a $150 service, while another could go on to spend $5,000 over the next 5 years. Without real tracking, you’d have no way of knowing which ad spend is bringing you the right type of clients.

    That’s the exact problem I wanted to solve, and why I created Maruflow, the booking software we use at Circles.
