Description
Why we use them: These are the rods Sharlene and the whole Circles of Hair team use for every perm. We’ve tried every rod, every paper and every perm solution, and these are the ones we keep coming back to. We import them ourselves through our own warehouse in Japan. That’s how serious we are about perms, and now we’re sharing them with you.
Why the Windy windows matter
- Lighter on the client: up to 25% lighter than a solid rod, so a full head is more comfortable to sit in
- More even results: solution reaches the inner layers of the hair through the windows, not just the outside of the wind
- Made for water-wrap and creep perms: water and air get through to the hair as well
- Faster, cleaner rinsing: water flows straight through, and the rods float so end papers come away easily
- Still tough: a special structure keeps them as durable as solid rods
The Windy is NEW EVER’s newest and lightest F-type rod, made in Japan by Yasumoto Kasei 安元化成. It keeps the F-type’s easy winding, but the surface is cut with open windows, making it up to 25% lighter than a solid rod of the same size for less load on the client.
The windows let solution, water and air reach the inner layers, which makes the Windy especially good for water-wrap perms and creep perms. A special structure keeps it as durable as solid rods, and the rods float so papers come away easily when rinsing.
Sold in boxes of 10 rods, colour-coded by size.
How to use
Use like any cold-wave rod. For a water-wrap perm, wind on hair wet with water only, then apply the 1st solution over the wound rods. For a creep perm, leave a resting time after rinsing the 1st solution, before applying the 2nd solution. The windows let the hair breathe and dry evenly. Secure with a perm band.
